For example, you could bag a trip from Birmingham to Bristol for £15.30, instead of the usual £30.60, or head from Manchester to Leeds for just £4.30, rather than the usual £8.60.
Sale tickets started to become available from 12.01am on January 23, and no more will be made available once they sell out. So move fast!
Where do I find discounted train tickets?
Tickets are being sold by online retailers and many station ticket offices. Or you can head over to the Great British Rail Sale website to find out about discounted journeys.
Enter your origin station, then either enter a destination, or leave it blank if you’re flexible about where your next adventure takes you.
You’ll be given a Rail Sale price and a listed of retailers where you can purchase your discounted ticket. Then you can head over to your chosen retailer and browse dates and times when the offer is available.
The saving is automatically applied, so there’s no need for a discount code.
Happy adventures!
